Serves as a clinical role model using the nursing process to direct, provide and evaluate age specific patient care. Ensures patient care standards are carried out and validates nurse competencies. Some carrying, pushing, pulling, lifting involved in day-to-day activities. Sufficiently mobile to push stretchers, wheelchairs, carts and equipment. Visual acuity necessary; hearing and talking necessary for communication.
