<p>Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist Technician ( PRN) to join our team! We are a 24-bed acute care critical access hospital serving the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana. We offer a wide range of services including general surgery and a 24-hour emergency department. At Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center, we are able to bring you a wide range of services close to home, provided by a network of board-certified physicians. This Technician (PRN) position performs Phlebotomist duties at Lallie Kemp Medical Center.</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>One year of experience or training in nursing, phlebotomy, or as a medical lab assistant, medical lab technician, or in medical research that included drawing blood from patients; OR</p> <p>Certification or eligibility for certification as a Phlebotomist by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners; OR</p> <p>Six semester hours earned from an accredited college or university in a biological science or chemical science field, or nursing.</p> <p>Position-Specific Details:</p> <p>About this job: This is a PRN position, there is no set length of employment, ineligible for benefit package, state retirement, holiday pay and leave earnings, compensation for number of hours worked only. </p> <p>Work Location: This Technician position is located in the Pathology Department .</p> <p>Work Hours:  Applicant is subject to work evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.</p> <p>Compensation: In addition to base pay chosen applicant will receive:</p> <p>Shift Differential Pay $3.00- $4.60/hour depending on shift , Certification Pay: $1.50/hour (if applicable) , Domicile Pay: $1.00/hour</p> <p>How To Apply:</p> <p>To apply for this vacancy, click on the "Apply" link above and complete an electronic application, which can be used for this vacancy as well as future job opportunities.
