<p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Salary is $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience. </li><li>Local Candidates in the Orlando area only. This is an office based position Monday through Friday. </li></ul> <p>ROLE AND RESPONSIBLITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Works with the Marketing team to prepare proposals, presentations, award submissions, etc. </li><li>Writes resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, and award submissions. </li><li>Assists with copy for web, brochures, and print, etc. </li><li>Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals. </li><li>Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals. </li><li>Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation; writing, revising, and editing drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and Owens' credentials. </li><li>Maintains quality results by using templates and following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone. </li><li>Improves proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing approach, coordination, and boilerplate. </li><li>Coordinates and maintains marketing files including correspondence, data, and other relevant materials. Reviews project information for accuracy. </li><li>Assists in preparing presentations with copy and graphic design. </li><li>Interprets complex information and presents it clearly and persuasively. </li><li>Communicates project status, addresses obstacles, and ensures timely delivery of assignments. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent writing and communication skills are critical to this position. You MUST submit a minimum of two original writing samples. Please provide PDF (5Mb max) with resume, writing samples, examples of work, etc. </li><li>Minimum two to three (2-3) years relevant experience in marketing or facilities management; experience in writing and responding to A/E/C proposals (i.e.: RFP, RFQ, LOI) is strongly preferred. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Writing, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required. </li><li>Ability to read, comprehend and execute proposal instructions and responses, tailoring responses to effectively communicate proposal strategy. </li><li>Ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish. </li><li>Strong computer and graphic layout skills. </li><li>Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and other relevant software applications. </li><li>Attention to detail and highly organized. </li><li>Self-starter, able to work independently and able to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment. You must work well under pressure and be able to occasionally work irregular hours to meet deadlines. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal relationship skills. </li><li>Team-oriented, independent thinker, and collaborative. </li><li>Exceptional writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Strong project management capabilities with a record of timely delivery. </li><li>Leadership, influencing, and team collaboration skills. </li><li>Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving expertise. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Proposal Writing: at least 2 years ; 5 years (Preferred). </li><li>4+ years of experience in proposal development preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus. </li><li>Proven ability to collaborate with C-Suite executives. </li><li>Background in proposal writing, bid management, marketing, consulting, and/or business development (2-4 years) </li><li>Experience in the facilities management industry is a plus. </li></ul>
