Our 58-bed program is CARF-accredited for stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and cancer rehabilitation. We provide individualized, high quality, patient-centered rehab care working with a multidisciplinary team that includes rehab physicians, PT/OT/ST, Recreation Therapy, Neuropsychology, Rehab Nursing, Social Workers, and RN Case Managers. We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care and achieving positive outcomes for returning patients home. Join us!</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to persons with disabilities or developmental delays. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Provides clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>These Principal Accountabilities, Requirements and Qualifications are not exhaustive, but are merely the most descriptive of the current job. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.</p>
