We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our radiology department. As part of our healthcare team, you will play an essential role in providing accurate diagnostic imaging to assist in the treatment and care of our patients.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating our Canon computed tomography (CT) scanners to perform imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with patients, physicians, and radiologists to ensure high-quality images are obtained, patient safety is maintained, and exceptional care is delivered.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Perform high-quality CT scans of various body parts, including the brain, chest, abdomen, and extremities.</p> <p>Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety.</p> <p>Administer contrast agents and prepare patients for CT procedures, following safety protocols.</p> <p>Operate CT imaging equipment and ensure the proper function and calibration of machines.</p> <p>Review patient history and physician's orders to ensure correct imaging procedures.</p> <p>Assist with patient preparation and explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety.</p> <p>Ensure all images meet quality standards and communicate any issues with the radiologist or attending physician.</p> <p>Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.</p> <p>Follow infection control and safety protocols, ensuring a safe and clean environment.</p> <p>Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the highest level of patient care.</p> <p>Stay current with new technologies, techniques, and regulations related to CT imaging.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Competitive salary and shift differentials</p> <p>Health, dental, and vision insurance</p> <p>Paid time off (PTO)</p> <p>Retirement savings plan with employer match</p> <p>Continuing education opportunities</p> <p>Professional development support</p> <p>Employee wellness programs</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Experience Minimum Required: Graduate of approved radiography training program</p> <p>Experience Preferred/Desired: Prior CT Scan experience</p> <p>Education Minimum Required: Graduate from an approved radiology training program</p> <p>Special Skills Minimum Required: Computer manipulation, verbal and written communication skills, mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative manner.
