This role is responsible for implementing company initiatives, ensuring accountability to key performance metrics, and driving adoption of SERVPROs construction systems and best practices.</p> <p>The Construction Manager works cross-functionally with members of Strategic Operations, Field Operations, Information Technology, Commercial Large Loss, and National Accounts to ensure alignment and effective execution of companywide construction initiatives, operational goals, and end-to-end workflow processes. This position reports to the Director of Construction Services and operates as a peer to the Roofing Manager.</p> <p>You will</p> <ul> <li>Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of Construction Consultants responsible for helping franchise owners establish, grow, and optimize their construction operations. </li><li>Execute strategies and initiatives defined by company leadership to expand the construction service line across the franchise system. </li><li>Define clear goals and performance expectations for the Construction Consultant team; monitors KPIs and KPMs to measure success and drive accountability. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Strategic Operations, Field Operations, IT, Commercial Large Loss, and National Accounts to align initiatives, share insights, and ensure consistent execution. </li><li>Consult directly with franchise owners and field leadership on business structure, staffing models, estimating practices, compliance, and workflow optimization. </li><li>Drive implementation of SERVPROs Construction Operating System, ensuring franchisees follow established standards and processes. </li><li>Support the integration of roofing and other adjacent service lines within the construction program in coordination with the Roofing Manager. </li><li>Identify performance gaps and opportunities through data analysis, field observations, and franchise feedback, and develops action plans to address them. </li><li>Contribute to the creation and delivery of training materials, presentations, and workshops to strengthen franchise capabilities and engagement. </li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert on construction project management, insurance-related rebuilds, and operational excellence. </li><li>Assist in developing, testing, and scaling new initiatives to grow construction services and increase overall market share. </li></ul> <p>You have</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, project management, or operations within the construction or restoration industries. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold field-based teams accountable to defined performance standards and KPIs. </li><li>Proven experience consulting or managing both residential and commercial construction projects. </li><li>Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics, financial results, and operational data to guide decision-making. </li><li>Familiarity with mitigation-related rebuilds and insurance-driven construction work strongly preferred. </li><li>Roofing experience is beneficial but not required. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across multiple departments and organizational levels. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable presenting to large audiences. </li><li>Experience developing and delivering training or leading workshops preferred. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in business administration, project management, construction management, or a related field; or comparable experience in a construction management role.
