<p>Notice of Vacancy</p> <p>Date: November 20, 2025 Deadline to Apply: December 4, 2025</p> <p>Position: Home School Liaison PC #21011</p> <p>Location: Silver Creek Primary School</p> <p>Status: Full-Time</p> <p>Beginning Date: January 19, 2026</p> <p>Job Summary: Hoem School Liaison</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>Successful experiences collaborating with teachers, staff, students, and community members. </li><li>Social work or counseling background (preferred) </li><li>Professionalism and confidentiality in all matters and especially in accordance to FERPA </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities & Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the main point of contact for community outreach to establish local partnerships and positive relationships with SCP; notably for referral purposes and student needs. </li><li>Provide parent resources and skills training to improve student success within the school environment. </li><li>Participate in the RTI process for student behavioral and social-emotional needs. </li><li>Implement and facilitate social-emotional learning (SEL) small groups. </li><li>Lead the social-emotional focus for all students and staff at the building level. </li><li>Lead the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) team. </li><li>Participate in the retention process for students. </li><li>Provide student discipline follow-up as part of a response team. </li><li>Focus on attendance protocol and follow up with families to ensure policies are followed. </li><li>Serves as a member of the SCSC Counseling team. </li><li>Crisis Intervention Team Member </li><li>Annual School Supplies Drive </li><li>Implements and oversees Zones of Regulation </li><li>Writes grants for funds to support family needs </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Contractual Days: Beginning to End of School Year: One hundred ninety (190) days (180 student days plus 10 holidays).</p> <p>Physical Factors (Occasionally = 0-2.5 hrs./day; Frequently = 2.5-5.5 hrs./day; Constantly = 5.5+ hrs./day)</p> <ul> <li>Sitting/standing - constantly </li><li>Stooping/kneeling/crouching - occasionally </li><li>Hearing and speaking clearly - constantly </li><li>Lifting/pushing/pulling (up to 20 lbs.) - occasionally </li><li>Climbing (stairs, ladders) - occasionally </li><li>The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or nonprescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the Corporation </li></ul>
