<p>Summary:</p> <p>Responsible for providing support for technology based solutions both locally and remotely. Expectation of feeling comfortable and confident working in a team environment and for upholding Zimmer Biomet's Corporate Policy. Expectation to have a customer first and results oriented mindset.</p> <p>Principal duties & responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct customer support for Zimmer Biomet IT assets </li><li>Execute and help define IT processes and standards </li><li>Enforce global/local security policies </li><li>Fully document IT support issues and their resolution for increased team efficiency in meeting customer needs </li><li>Assist other IT staff and teams in various IT projects, as needed </li></ul> <p>Expected areas of competence:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to work successfully within a team and build effective working relationships</p> </li><li> <p>Customer-first and results orientation; acts with a sense of urgency to resolve internal customer IT issues and delivers results in an efficient and timely manner</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of end-user IT technology; basic understanding of networking technology preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Microsoft 10 and 11, Dell Precision, Dell Latitude, ServiceNow</p> </li><li> <p>Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written/verbal)</p> </li><li> <p>Analytical and critical thinking skills</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to multitask and prioritize work effectively</p> </li><li> <p>Has a winning attitude and instills a passion for winning with other team members, an attitude which is demonstrated by a "can do" approach</p> </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School diploma required; bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Technical IT certifications preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Licenses/Certifications - Preferred: A+ Certification, Network+, MCP, MCSA, and MCSE.</p> </li><li> <p>1-3 years of experience in computer maintenance and support or equivalent combination of education and experience</p> </li></ul> <p>Travel Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Up to 10% </li></ul> <p>Shift Information</p> <ul> <li>Second shift </li><li>Timing of 3pm - 12am EST M-F </li></ul> <p>What You Can Expect</p> <p>How You'll Create Impact</p> <p>What Makes You Stand Out</p> <p>Your Background</p> <p>Travel Expectations</p> <p>EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability</p>
