For over 50 years we have earned trust and confidence because of their patient care experience.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <ul> <li>The Imaging Technical Assistant (ITA) plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth patient experience by: </li><li>Greeting and escorting patients while maintaining safety and privacy standards. </li><li>Verifying patient identity and exam details in compliance with HIPAA regulations. </li><li>Assisting with patient history documentation and explaining procedure preparations. </li><li>Operating imaging software systems, including PACS, RIS, and SPARK. </li><li>Supporting MRI safety protocols and assisting with IV preparation and contrast administration. </li><li>Positioning patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and confidentiality. </li><li>Maintaining a clean and organized environment, including laundering patient gowns and linens. </li></ul> <p>This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.</p> <p>We offer our technical assistants a generous compensation package:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive medical, dental and vision benefits plans </li><li>Life and long-term disability insurance </li><li>(3) Three weeks paid time off </li><li>401k with a generous company contribution </li><li>(6) Six paid holidays </li><li>Imaging services for employees and immediate household </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Prior medical assisting or other patient focused experience is preferred, but we will train the right individual who is self-motivated, customer service-oriented, desires a career in radiologic healthcare, is personable and is interested in making our patients feel comfortable while undergoing a variety of imaging services.</p> <ul> <li>Required-High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Required- CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification </li><li>Preferred- Medical training program that included medical and anatomy terminology </li><li>Preferred- Medical assistant certificate </li><li>Preferred- Medical knowledge/experience </li></ul> <p>Radiology Regional is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
