The Utility Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of lathe and roll rotating equipment, roll grinders, rubber mills, and other assigned machines. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS</p> <p>Initial assignment qualities and responsibilities to include:</p> <ul> <li>Trim and Skim rolls to pre-grind specifications. </li><li>Cut locking grooves per SPI specifications when needed. </li><li>Complete paperwork as necessary on factory orders and roll receiving reports. </li><li>Learn to operate new equipment. </li><li>Mixing of prepared raw materials for covering process. </li><li>Keep machine and area clean. </li><li>Be willing and able to proficiently perform all tasks with or without supervision. </li><li>Ability to perform other maintenance, housekeeping, painting, and miscellaneous tasks as needed and or as directed by supervisor. </li><li>Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, and bending). </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS • Education: High school Diploma or equivalent. • Experience: On the job training will be provided.
