<p>Job Title: Software Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The role primarily involves working on IRAD tasks with testing for the Modeling & Simulation team and the software team focusing on Autonomy development. Responsibilities include software automated testing, supporting the deployment of the Odyssey Sim Product, and developing virtual world solutions by streaming environmental data from live or common databases. Additionally, the position requires data manipulation using Python scripts, creating automation and deployment scripts for Docker, and conducting Odyssey testing and simulation, as well as testing interfaces such as VSUSV/REMUS.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct software automated testing for Modeling & Simulation projects. </li><li>Support the deployment of Odyssey Sim Product. </li><li>Develop virtual world solutions by streaming environmental data from live or common databases. </li><li>Manipulate data using Python scripts. </li><li>Create automation and deployment scripts for Docker. </li><li>Perform Odyssey testing and simulation. </li><li>Test interfaces like VSUSV/REMUS. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Python scripting. </li><li>Experience in development and use of data analysis tools. </li><li>Integrated software testing capabilities. </li><li>Familiarity with Linux environments. </li><li>C++ code development for sensor models, sensor-vehicle interfacing, and vehicle control logic. </li><li>Skills in mathematical modeling. </li><li>Knowledge of ROS2 or DDS. </li><li>Experience with Docker. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Optional experience in UI Development using React. </li><li>Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience or a Master's degree with 0-3 years of experience in a relevant field. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is based onsite at the client location, requiring collaboration within a dynamic and technologically advanced environment.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $47.50/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
