This role focuses on delivering high-quality, consumer-centric, and trend-right product lines across all distribution channels, while contributing to cross-category strategies and collaborative projects.</p> <p>You will report to the Merchandising Manager.</p> <p>This is a full-time position based out of our Kissimmee, FL office.</p> <p>Responsibilities/You Will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in creating the product strategy for a collection of products or initiatives for Special Events & Premium Experiences Product</p> </li><li> <p>Research, organize findings, assemble input from key partners and prepare presentation decks, briefs and recaps for key milestone meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Establish perspective on what's working and why to consistently improve product line</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated passion for consumer and product trends</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver all item set up information within designated global systems across vertical channels</p> </li><li> <p>Attend cross functional team meetings to assist with the input/output of communication</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate samples among key partners and room set ups for product showcases</p> </li><li> <p>Manage updates and maintenance of the Product Lifecycle Management system</p> </li><li> <p>Achieve our diversity and inclusion goals through professional growth</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with other team projects as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications/You Have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>1-2 years of progressive experience in Product or Merchandising</p> </li><li> <p>Interest in building product lines across categories</p> </li><li> <p>Strategic thinker with ability to execute plans</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborative team player who fosters cross-functional partnerships</p> </li><li> <p>Passion for retail merchandising</p> </li><li> <p>Flexible and adaptable, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects</p> </li><li> <p>High attention to detail, proactive, and strong follow-through</p> </li><li> <p>Positive attitude, responsive to feedback, and able to pivot with changing priorities</p> </li><li> <p>Self-starter with initiative and willingness to learn new skills and processes</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prior Disney merchant experience</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM)</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Education:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
