The Analyst assists with the budgeting and forecasting implementation workflow processes.</p> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor degree in accounting or finance required</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum three years related work experience is required.</p> </li><li> <p>Financial and statistical reporting, design and preparation of financial models experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience working with big data and profitability models preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently, multitask and meet deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>High level of proficiency in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Adaptive Planning and/or Axiom Planning or similar systems would be beneficial</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support the preparation of the capital and operational budget</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for budget and profitability analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Tracks and reports on capital project budget verse actual spend and obtains feedback from the credit unions organizational units.</p> </li><li> <p>Produces monthly financial statements and board reporting package.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with preparation, distribution and reporting of the budget and forecasting business unit workbooks and reports</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with business unit training and support involving the budgeting process.</p> </li><li> <p>Works with business units to develop forecast models for revenue and expenses.</p> </li><li> <p>Uses budgeting software to track, monitor and continually manage departmental budgets.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for obtaining, reviewing and incorporating economic data into applicable processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Identifies trends in financial performance and provides recommendations for improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Produces a variety of key financial reports to support management decisions</p> </li><li> <p>Ad hoc financial reporting</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits of Joining the Teachers Team:</p> <p>We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes, but is not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Paid time off for vacation, personal days, and holidays</p> </li><li> <p>Fully-funded pension plan</p> </li><li> <p>401(k) company contribution</p> </li><li> <p>Teachers pays 100% of Dental & Vision premium</p> </li><li> <p>Tuition reimbursement is offered to full-time employees</p> </li><li> <p>Exclusive employee discount of 0.96% APR on credit card loans and a 1.00% APR on all other loans through Teachers</p> </li></ul> <p>The good faith range for this position is $73,500 - $88,250 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs.
