<p>The Financial Advisor is a client-facing representative of Burke & Herbert Wealth Management who will assist customers with investment and financial planning needs. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.</p> <p>Travel</p> <p>Requires the ability to do periodic local travel to branch offices in assigned area.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>College degree required; professional designation or advanced degree preferred. </li><li>At least 2 years of financial sales experience required. </li><li>FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) licenses required; Virginia Life Insurance License required. </li><li>Computer literacy required, including Excel spreadsheet and word processing applications. </li></ul> <p>This position is classified as exempt, and as such it is paid on a salaried basis. The pay range for this position is $50,000 to $50,000 annually. This position is eligible for commission. This position is classified as full-time and the benefits package includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance.
