<p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>The team developing industry leading CT scanners is looking for highly motivated software engineers to join them to develop the next generation of CT scanners.</p> <p>Staff Software Engineer will be working on CT image reconstruction and performance optimization with latest GPU technologies to accelerate CT algorithms and deep learning inferencing.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>In this role you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design, develop and test CT image reconstruction software utilizing latest high-performance computing hardware and software technologies</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluate 3rd-party frameworks and libraries for future opportunities to grow the CT image reconstruction software stack, with an emphasis on GPU optimization.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate CT image reconstruction algorithms into product software</p> </li><li> <p>Take ownership of tasks and deliver, while helping team members through programming and code reviews</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in C/C++ and/or Python</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Expertise in GPGPU technologies, OpenCL and/or CUDA</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of profiling techniques and tools</p> </li></ul> <p>Desired Characteristics</p> <ul> <li> <p>MS/PhD in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in Deep Learning, tensor core, systolic pipelines etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with oneAPI and/or oneDNN</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</p> </li></ul> <p>We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.</p> <p>GE HealthCare offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
