Ensure that all appropriate water, health, and safety standards are maintained.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education/Certification:</p> <p>High school diploma or GED</p> <p>Valid American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor and Professional Rescuer Certifications</p> <p>Current first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillator (AED) certificate</p> <p>Certified Pool Operator certification</p> <p>Valid Texas driver's license</p> <p>Special Knowledge/Skills:</p> <p>Knowledge of principles and practices of operating an aquatic facility</p> <p>Knowledge of supplies, equipment, service ordering and inventory control</p> <p>Knowledge of optimal swimming pool water chemistry, temperature, and cleanliness standards</p> <p>Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and guidelines for the operation of public swimming pools</p> <p>Knowledge of certification standards in aquatics</p> <p>Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills</p> <p>Proficient with computer software including Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, Canva</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Five years of pool operations/aquatic center experience</p> <p>Work Schedule: 221 days</p> <p>Salary: Pay Grade 3/Admin/Prof Hiring Schedule</p> <p>Screenings may begin 5 school days from date posted.
