Our research is focused on soil organic matter dynamics that occur at the interface between clay minerals, microbes, and plants. We apply soil biogeochemistry and stable isotope-based techniques to understand the controls on the storage and cycling of carbon and nitrogen. The position will be primarily lab-based and will involve occasional work in the growth chamber and field.
