<p>Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking to hire a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff, patients, and visitors. Duties include cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas, replenishing supplies, and ensuring infection control standards are met.</p> <p>HOUSEKEEPER RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform specific cleaning and custodial tasks in the general upkeep, sanitation, and cleanliness of the hospital.</p> </li><li> <p>Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and supplies, using appropriate processes and germicides for cleaning equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other housekeeping duties, such as move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, clean kitchens, cooking utensils, silverware, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Launder soiled linens as directed.</p> </li><li> <p>Properly clean and store all equipment and supplies after each shift.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare rooms for meetings, arrange decorations, and furniture for hospital functions.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for stocking of supplies as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Follows all infection control measures.</p> </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred. </li><li>Previous experience in housekeeping in a commercial, clinical or healthcare environment preferred. </li></ul> <p>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training is provided as part of new hire orientation). </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
