Work alongside experienced professionals on exciting projects and become part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges!</p> <p>Your Impact</p> <ul> <li>Use relevant work experience to perform underwater evaluations of waterfront structures. </li><li>Helps ensure the safety of the traveling public through detailed assessments of bridge components and channel conditions below water. </li><li>Drafts and reviews inspection reports to clearly convey findings to client. </li><li>Performs routine maintenance on diving equipment in accordance with WSP's Safe Diving Practices Manual and to manufacturers' specifications. </li><li>Generates accurate and concise documentation regarding assigned aspects of the project. </li><li>Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for equipment maintenance, diving safety, and inspection procedures. </li><li>Plans, schedules, and performs bridge inspections in accordance with the requirements of specific bridge owners, but in all cases, in compliance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and OSHA Regulations. </li><li>Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED. </li><li>9+ years of underwater bridge inspection experience. </li><li>Meet NBIS Underwater Team Leader requirements </li><li>Certified Kirby Morgan Hat Technician </li><li>Commercial Diving (ADCI) Certification </li><li>Current USDOT physical </li><li>ADCI medical examination within last 12 months. </li><li>Valid state driver's license. </li><li>Physically capable of performing field work; including working in inclement weather, climbing slopes and ladders, carrying gear (up to 75 lbs), operating small boats, and using hand and power tools, etc. </li><li>Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others. </li><li>Capable of self-leadership with attention to detail, ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instructions, and comply with company policies. </li><li>Ability to work independently under general supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives. </li><li>Frequent travel/overnight travel will be required depending on project-specific requirements and project location. </li><li>Selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately. </li><li>Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate or Bachelor's degree. </li><li>Certified Guardian Full Face Mask Technician </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. </li><li>Prior leadership experience. </li><li>ADCI Air-diving Supervisor Certification. </li><li>Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek. </li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation. </li></ul> <p>#LI-MC1</p>
