<p>TITLE: Security Receptionist</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ol> <li>High school diploma. </li><li>Proven ability to work in a polite and friendly manner and relate to a variety of constituencies, including but not limited to: administrators, parents, teachers, students, other school staff and visitors. </li><li>Possess good communication skills both verbal and written. </li><li>Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities. </li><li>A sense of humor and a proven ability to work in a polite and friendly manner with all staff members, students, and with the larger educational community. </li><li>Such alternative to the above qualifications as the school department may find appropriate and acceptable. REPORTS TO: Building principal, and/or designee. JOB GOALS: </li><li>To supervise students by providing a well organized, smoothly functioning lunch room, recess, and overall school environment in which students are able to succeed. </li><li>Provide a safe and supportive educational environment for all students. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: (include but not limited to): </li><li>Supervises assigned students at all times during lunch, hallways, and recess activities. </li><li>Maintains discipline and control of assigned students according to the school district handbook. </li><li>Enforces school handbook rules with all assigned students. </li><li>Assumes responsibility for duties such as collecting of lunch tickets/monies and the care of equipment. </li><li>Monitors students to maintain order in games, use of playground equipment and other physical activities on the playground and indoors. </li><li>Works cooperatively with other school personnel and parents. </li><li>Performs other duties or tasks and assumes other responsibilities as may be designated or assigned by immediate supervisors. </li></ol>
