<p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>Under limited supervision, the Safety and Compliance Supervisor updates and maintains Safety Audit data information for all Motion locations and coordinates with branches in the event of re-audits and corrective action plans. This position also leads the coordination of the Company's Driver Program, including but not limited to Motion internal driver qualification process.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Reviews customer contracts to ensure compliance with insurance and safety </li></ul> <p>requirements.</p> <ul> <li>Works with insurance provider to obtain certificates of insurance (COI). </li><li>Uploads certificates to customer compliance sites on demand/as needed and annually sorts, uploads, and distributes 10,000+ COIs to company reps and customers. </li><li>Maintains and updates safety and OSHA information in third party compliance sites. </li><li>Collaborates with GPC Risk Management Director and GPC Legal to provide answers to compliance requirement inquiries from Motion management. </li><li>Completes contractor surveys and pre-qualification questionnaires based on </li></ul> <p>environmental, health, and safety data.</p> <ul> <li>Completes assessments and surveys on sustainability, human trafficking, and slavery assessments. </li><li>Requests and uploads clearance letters and letters of good standing from Canadian provinces. </li><li>Provides compliance support to Canada locations. </li><li>Monitors DTR activities and contacts management on status of new drivers. </li><li>Communicates ELD requirements to managers. </li><li>Manages driver files through third party vendor. </li><li>Monitors roadside inspections and driver corrective action plans. </li><li>Reviews and assesses internal incident review process. </li><li>Monitors random drug screens and escalates positive results to EHS Manager and HRM. </li><li>Adjudicates background check results. </li><li>Supervises Vehicle Claims Coordinator position. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Typically requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination.</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Excellent organizational skills. </li><li>Proficient communication skills. </li><li>Assessment and interpretation. </li><li>Effective problem-solving skills. </li><li>Critical thinking ability. </li><li>Creative thinking skills. </li><li>Strong people skills. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: 0-5 Direct Reports</p> <p>COMPANY INFORMATION:</p> <p>Motion offers an excellent benefits package which includes options for healthcare coverage, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, vacation, sick, and holiday pay.</p> <p>Not the right fit?
