From part-time roles to executive leadership positions, Teachers offers a wide range of meaningful career opportunities.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Responsible for funding car loans received through a network of car dealerships approved through Groovecar by counting and separating the packages received daily by product and region; entering contract information, funding the application into the core system; ensuring all information is correctly transferred to the core system. Also responsible for scanning lease documents; reviewing new membership documentation; and corresponding with members and dealers when required.</p> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A high school education or GED required</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of two years of funding or related experience required</p> </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proficiency in Acrobat Adobe & Microsoft Office</p> </li><li> <p>Strong writing and communication skills</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Enters all information from loan package into the loan application system, verifies package meets approval guidelines and if not contacts loan officers to re-evaluate</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for placing applications in the correct queues in the loan application system and communicating the status of the applications to the dealerships</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for searching new members on OFAC Sanctions List and submitting packages to Risk Management as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for fielding phone calls from dealers, members and fellow employees as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Verifies all information in the core system is accurate once funding is complete and ensures cashbox is balanced each day</p> <ul> <li> <p>Records daily productivity on department's daily stats spreadsheet</p> </li><li> <p>Follows up on any unresolved issues from the previous workday</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible to assist with Administrator duties as needed, including but not limited to: Scanning lease documents and submit to the leasing company (Fusion); Reviewing new membership documentation for accuracy; creating and sending correspondence to dealerships or members; opening, routing and prioritizing mail</p> </li><li> <p>Funds packages by entering all contract information into the loan application system, entering required deductions, verifying the settlement to the dealer, generating permanent account numbers, arranging vehicle insurance renewals by copying insurance binders and scanning to loan servicing to be sent to an outside vendor, resolving problems when necessary; monetary or otherwise, and presenting loan for checking and final authorization</p> </li><li> <p>Keeps manager informed of activities, conditions and issues</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits of Joining the Teachers Team:</p> <p>We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes, but is not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Paid time off for vacation, personal days, and holidays</p> </li><li> <p>Fully-funded pension plan</p> </li><li> <p>401(k) company contribution</p> </li><li> <p>Teachers pays 100% of Dental & Vision premium</p> </li><li> <p>Tuition reimbursement is offered to full-time employees</p> </li><li> <p>Exclusive employee discount of 0.96% APR on credit card loans and a 1.00% APR on all other loans through Teachers</p> </li></ul> <p>The good faith range for this position is $20.50 - $24.00 an hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs.
