<p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Director, our Maintenance Assistant oversees the Community safety program and maintains a secure resident home and working environment in compliance with policy and regulations </li><li>Sustains a preventative maintenance program to maintain proper functioning of all Community equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems </li><li>Completes all maintenance requests, both scheduled and emergency, quickly and efficiently </li><li>Mechanically repair, replace, and/or install minor equipment, hardware, and controls. Such scope of work is to be cleared by the Executive Director </li><li>Maintain water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, kitchen equipment and associated equipment </li><li>Maintain community plumbing systems </li><li>Performs exterior maintenance duties </li><li>Performs fire and disaster drill activities with residents and team members </li><li>Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction </li></ul>
