<p>The Job Responsibilities</p> <p>We're hiring! If you want your contributions to make a real difference, check out this new career opportunity with us at Draeger where we are led by the guiding principle "Technology for Life".</p> <p>The Clinical Applications Specialist is a remote position with preference to someone living within the covered territory (Western and Central States).</p> <p>Responsible for providing clinical user training and clinical support to customers for pre-sale clinical evaluations and post-sale clinical implementations. This position is an integral part of our sales process and customer satisfaction focus. Clinical applications specialists are expected to develop strong customer relationships in their assigned regional coverage areas and work cooperatively with their assigned sales and sales management personnel in the development and execution of sales and account strategies.</p> <ul> <li>Provides product and clinical education to customers for assigned modality. </li><li>Develops and provides customer appropriate clinical in-servicing for purchased devices to meet clinical needs. </li><li>Conducts advanced clinical education including accredited classes for CEU/CRCE credits and Train-the-Trainer courses. </li><li>Coordinates with customer, project manager, service and sales concerning product training and clinical implementation </li><li>Provides clinical support, educational resources, troubleshoots, observes and communicates with customers and colleagues to ensure proper use of equipment and applications. </li><li>Provides documentation of the clinical support process. </li><li>Develops and maintains positive customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction </li><li>Provides product and clinical education to potential clinical users during demonstrations and clinical evaluations </li><li>Consults with Sales Team to understand the goals of demonstration/clinical evaluation </li><li>Provides clinical/product support and training during the defined time frame of demonstration/clinical evaluation. Addresses clinical features, benefits and inquiries for all levels of hospital personnel </li><li>Provides documentation of the clinical evaluation </li><li>Provides timely, effective follow-up and response to customer generated clinical questions </li><li>Promotes Draeger Medical Education / Training to customers and sales team members. </li><li>Participates in state / national trade / symposiums as required and as schedule permits. </li><li>Completes job related administrative tasks in accordance with company policies and guidelines including the following: </li><li>Expense report </li><li>Scheduling Calendar </li><li>Documentation as required or requested by sales / clinical management </li></ul> <p>Your Qualifications</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>AS/BS/BSN degree or the equivalent combination of experience and training.</p> <p>Related Experience:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of acute care experience (i.e. NICU and Critical Care ventilation) </li><li>Licensed as an RRT </li><li>Previous experience as clinical educator and/or related experience in mentoring, content delivery or presentation skills strongly preferred </li><li>Valid Drivers License </li></ul> <p>Special Competencies or Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and clinical instructions and procedure manuals </li><li>Ability to write routine reports and correspondence </li><li>Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or organizational employees </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Knowledge of adult learning methods and/or educational program development strongly preferred </li><li>Familiarity with the hospital/clinical environment, equipment treatment methods, personnel roles and organizational issues </li><li>Able to travel up to 80% of work-related time including overnights and occasional weekends </li></ul> <p>The compensation includes a base salary of $80,000 plus uncapped commission based on sales performance. On Target Earnings (OTE) are $105,000 annually at 100% of quota, with the potential to exceed this based on individual results."</p>
