<p>Full-time day shift Lead CT Technologist - No weekends, No Holidays, does require the possibility of on-call. This position will rotate to outpatient sites.</p> <p>Start strong: Earn a $20,000 sign-on bonus when your join our team!</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assists with quality assurance projects and assists in the development of exam protocols alongside of or in place of advanced technologists and communicates results back to departmental leadership. </li><li>Performs all responsibilities of CT Tech I and Advanced CT Tech II. </li><li>Leads orientation and training for new hires, students and other medical personnel; ensures competencies are completed in the required time frame. Responsible for offering remediation with technologists when necessary. </li><li>Coordinates daily workflow and schedule of the department while maintaining staffing levels based on, but not limited to, call offs, vacations, patient volumes, and training needs. </li><li>Assists in talent acquisition interviews for successful recruitment of technologist candidates and provides feedback for annual performance reviews. </li><li>Assumes the leadership role in the absence of the supervisor. </li><li>Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program. </li><li>CT Specialty Boards Completed. </li><li>3 years CT experience required. </li><li>Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion. </li></ul> <p>Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:</p> <p>ARRT certified as a CT Technologist. CPR or BLS Required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.</p> <ul> <li>ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) </li><li>Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal </li><li>Act 33 with renewal </li><li>Act 34 with renewal </li><li>Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal </li></ul> <p>UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran</p>
