Provides a variety of clerical support to meet departmental needs.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Formal Education Required:</p> <ul> <li>High school-level course work in English Grammar, Composition, and Basic Mathematics </li></ul> <p>Experience & Training Required:</p> <ul> <li>One (1) year of office experience in a busy setting that included interacting with the public via telephone and face-to-face </li><li>Typing proficiency of 30 w.p.m. with accuracy preferred </li><li>Working knowledge of MicroSoft Office applications to include Word, Excel and Outlook </li></ul> <p>Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks at once </li><li>Ability to work under high volume and fast paced conditions with frequent interruptions </li><li>High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills </li><li>Ability to work well within a team environment by displaying a positive attitude, accepting and offering honest and constructive feedback; by supporting team goals and encouraging other team members; and by collaborating with departmental team members to consolidate work, solve problems, create new methods, and/or reduce costs </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with general public, employees, department heads, physicians and others contacted in the course of work </li><li>Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet established deadlines </li><li>Ability to operate personal computer and other related office equipment </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing and demonstrates behaviors consistent with the customer service policy </li><li>Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity </li></ul> <p>Level of Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Lifting: Floor to Standing 10-19 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</p> <p>$17.43/hr - $20.92/hr</p> <p>The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range that is listed is the full base salary range.
