<p>Embedded Software Engineer needed for a contract to hire opportunity with SOC's client to work on-site in Camden, NJ.</p> <p>Must Have:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field </li><li>C++ (up to C++ 14) </li><li>Python </li><li>Minimum of 5+ years of C++ and Python experience with Real time embedded systems </li><li>Usage of a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), such as Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, or similar </li></ul> <p>Nice to Have:</p> <ul> <li>Object-oriented design and implementation experience, with exposure to software modeling and UML tools such as IBM Rhapsody or MagicDraw/Cameo </li><li>Familiarity with RUST software languages </li><li>Experience with NSA Type 1 certification or other SW certification such as DO-178 </li></ul> <p>Employment Prerequisites</p> <p>The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis.</p> <p>SOC, a Day & Zimmermann company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer, EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability.</p> <p>Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations, which may have been provided by job boards.
