You'll not only lead complex projects with confidence but also inspire the next generation of engineers, ensuring quality, performance, and technical excellence at every step.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the go-to technical leader and EOR across multiple projects for major Grocery clients. </li><li>Lead the design and QA/QC of mechanical systems, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and controls. </li><li>Mentor and guide junior engineers, championing high standards and continuous learning. </li><li>Collaborate with architects and fellow engineers to produce high-quality construction documents. </li><li>Drive sustainability initiatives-especially around decarbonization and carbon-neutral HVAC systems. </li><li>Interface directly with clients to understand goals, solve challenges, and deliver innovative solutions. </li><li>Act as a thought leader in energy modeling, energy codes, and system performance optimization. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Deep expertise in the Grocery sector with a strong understanding of project types and client needs. </li><li>Licensed PE with multi-state capabilities (or willing to become licensed in multiple states). </li><li>Strong grasp of energy modeling, decarbonization strategies, and modern sustainability practices. </li><li>Ability to work independently while leading complex projects with minimal oversight. </li><li>Proficiency in mechanical systems design, including HVAC, plumbing, sewer, gas, and water systems. </li><li>Passion for coaching others and building a strong engineering culture. </li></ul> <p>Why HFA?</p> <p>At HFA, we believe that people come first-always.
