You will work in a complex, fast-paced, and highly elastic environment that provides opportunities to navigate across different teams and projects.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design and develop scalable APIs, microservices (Java/Spring Boot), and web apps (Python/Node.js) for cloud and on-prem environments </li><li>Deploy solutions using AWS EKS, Lambda, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver secure, high-quality solutions </li><li>Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers on Java and API standards </li><li>Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures </li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation, logging, monitoring, and tracing for system reliability and support </li></ul> <p>Skills, Experience and Requirements</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field </li><li>6+ years developing enterprise solutions with Java (Spring Boot, J2EE), Python, and cloud-native platforms </li><li>6+ years designing and managing REST APIs; 4+ years building microservices in AWS or similar clouds </li><li>Proven experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and strong knowledge of security protocols (OAuth, SAML), event-driven and message-based architectures </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, Redis, SQS, and API Gateways (e.g., Apigee) </li><li>Experienced in CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Git-based SDLC tools like JIRA and Confluence </li><li>Skilled in working with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, DocumentDB) and API documentation tools like Swagger </li><li>Strong background in threat modeling, risk assessments, code reviews, and cross-functional team collaboration </li></ul> <p>#LI-JZ2</p> <p>Salary Ranges</p> <p>Compensation: $110,000.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits.</p> <p>The base pay range shown is a guideline.
