Step into a supportive environment where you can make a significant impact without a full-time commitment.</p> <p>PMI equips all educators with excellent curricula and teaching resources to ensure you are prepared and successful in the classroom.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Adjusted for On-Call Role):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Execute pre-prepared daily lesson plans for students, ensuring a seamless continuation of learning in the absence of the primary instructor.</p> </li><li> <p>Effectively deliver scheduled lectures and practical demonstrations.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor students in the classroom and lab settings, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide academic support and answer student questions based on the established curriculum.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately record student attendance and report it to the appropriate administrator.</p> </li><li> <p>May be asked to proctor exams or oversee practical skills assessments.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide a handover report to the primary instructor or program director regarding class progress and any notable issues.</p> </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associate degree from an accredited surgical technology program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or equivalent military training.</p> </li><li> <p>A minimum of three (3) years of recent operating room experience in the scrub role.</p> </li><li> <p>Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential through the NBSTSA (required).</p> </li><li> <p>Any current state-specific license or certification required to work in the field.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to adapt quickly to existing lesson plans and classroom dynamics.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with basic computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to access curricula and submit reports.</p> </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Hourly Rate: $31.00 - $38.75 per hour</p> </li><li> <p>This is an on-call, as-needed position. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on program coverage needs.</p> </li></ul>
