<p>Position: Packaging Line Tech 1</p> <p>Manager: Assistant Operations Manager/Packaging Supervisor</p> <p>Department: Production/Packaging</p> <p>Location: Littleton, CO - Onsite</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>Our Packaging Team performs all responsibilities in Canning, Bottling, Kegging, and re-packing of our beer. They assure that beer is packaged in bottles, cans, and kegs ready for distribution and sale. This is the first level in the Packaging Ladder, in a fast-paced production environment. This is a physically intensive role that requires exceptional motivation, a true passion for craft beer, and scheduling flexibility. This position reports to the Assistant Operations Manager but will also take direction from the Packaging Supervisor and Packaging Shift Leads.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Adhere to safety standards set by Breckenridge Brewery. Complete 100% of required safety trainings. Report safety concerns. </li><li>Adhere to quality standards as communicated during new hire training, as well as future trainings. Reports Quality concerns. </li><li>Understand all packaging types of our beer. </li><li>Operation of packaging equipment according to Machine Operations Matrix. Assist in 20 machine changeovers per year. </li><li>Complete audits: understand and execute all audits for each machine. Set up the machine and make sure the right product is utilized, as well as end of run counts. During the run: each 30 min audits </li><li>Assisting in troubleshooting of equipment. Make Tech II, Tech III, Shift Lead, supervisor, or manager aware of issues in a timely manner. Expected to report when noticing issues, concerns, or machine challenges. </li><li>Cleaning of the general facilities and operation area. Ensure the area is properly cleaned and paperwork associated with the cleaning is completed. Daily and weekly cleaning performed as required. </li><li>Complete end of run counts of materials used, fill out batch tracking information. Notate materials left on partial pallets. </li><li>Understand chemicals used throughout the production facility as well as PPE required around them. </li><li>Read and understand SOP's. </li><li>Alerts the Shift Leader or other Management to potential quality or safety concerns. </li><li>Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in a Packaging environment preferred </li><li>Ability to carry/lift 50-165lbs and work safely in a loud and/or hot work environment </li><li>Must be able to crouch, bend, lift, stoop and reach </li><li>Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more </li><li>Must be able to work in hot, wet and loud environment </li><li>Must be able to work around steam, electricity, harsh chemicals, and solvents </li><li>Must be flexible to work day, afternoon, and midnight shifts, including weekends and holidays </li><li>Mechanical background preferred </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma required </li></ul> <p>Full Time Employee Benefits Include:</p> <ul> <li>Full range of insurance benefits </li><li>Paid Vacation </li><li>401k with employer match </li><li>Pay Range: Starting at $19 </li></ul> <p>Supplemental Information:</p> <p>Ability to work nights and weekends due to business needs.</p>
