This role provides HR support to both union and non-union employee populations, requiring expertise in employee relations, labor relations, and collaborative partnership with diverse stakeholders.</p> <p>This job is part of the People Strategy and Operations function. They are responsible for the design, execution, and monitoring of human resource programs and policies.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Partner with managers and union representatives to identify employment-related risks, support grievance handling, and manage the discovery process of investigations. </li><li>Support collective bargaining agreement (CBA) administration, interpretation, and compliance in collaboration with management and union leadership. </li><li>Assist with the development of onboarding, career ladders, organizational planning, and performance management initiatives in the organization. </li><li>Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and assist with issuing disciplinary action and performance improvement counseling. </li><li>Work with managers to identify employment-related risks and begin the discovery process of investigations and grievances. </li><li>Manage several HR functions such as employment, labor relations, compensation, etc. for a business unit or line of business. </li><li>Conduct training on a variety of topics including performance management, diversity, labor relations, and more. </li><li>Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. </li><li>Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of HR and labor practices across the function. </li><li>Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. </li><li>Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams. </li><li>Work within broad guidelines and policies. </li><li>Explain difficult or sensitive information. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <p>A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of demonstrable experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.</p> <p>Bilingual English & Spanish nice to have.</p> <p>At least 3 years of direct labor relations or union environment experience, with demonstrated experience in grievance handling, investigations, and CBA interpretation. Recent union experience within the last 5 years is preferred.</p> <p>Strong communication abilities to establish trust and credibility with both management and union representatives.</p> <p>Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.</p> <p>Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.</p> <p>In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.</p> <p>Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive approach.</p> <p>Sophisticated math skills.
