You can also participate in our 401(k) plan with company match and explore post-tax Roth IRA options to secure your financial future. </li><li>Established Legacy: Join a team of over 1,000 employees contributing to our success since 1960, with a proven track record of excellence in mechanical contracting. </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Interpret specifications, blueprints, submittals, and job orders as needed for the project. </li><li>Assemble procurement orders for materials, equipment, and tools required at each project commencement. </li><li>Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules using knowledge of equipment capacities and assigned personnel; use hand tools and portable power tools per job specifications. </li><li>Conduct performance appraisals for foremen and workers to ensure the most productive job placement at the job site according to blueprint specifications. </li><li>Study schedules and estimate man-hour requirements for job completion. </li><li>Maintain time records and ensure timely procedures are adopted as appropriate. </li><li>Analyze and resolve work problems to bring about win/win solutions. </li><li>Train helpers as needed and provide instruction on proper tool handling and work product specifications. </li><li>When necessary, make cost estimates for contracts. </li><li>Interpret company policies for workers and enforce safety regulations across work areas. </li><li>Complete other tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of four (4) years of field experience as a plumber in a mechanical construction company. </li><li>Minimum of ten (10) years in trade leadership roles in commercial construction. </li><li>Med Gas Certification is a plus. </li><li>GED or high school diploma preferred. </li><li>Understand shop math. </li><li>Work skillfully with tools, metals, and machines. </li><li>Visualize three-dimensional objects from drawings, sketches, or blueprints. </li><li>Work within precise limits and standards. </li><li>Perform a variety of duties which may change often. </li><li>Rate information using measurable standards. </li><li>Understand English and provide/follow directives to/from assigned helpers. </li><li>Clean driving record, drug test, and background check are required. </li><li>Must be able to see well (either naturally or with correction); use hands, fingers, arms, and legs fully; lift up to 10 lbs.; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. </li></ul> <p>Join us today and build a brighter future with B&I Contractors, Inc. - where you're not just an employee, but an owner!</p> <p>#Bandi1</p>
