The ideal candidate should have expertise in reading blueprints, diagnosing plumbing issues, and ensuring compliance with local building codes.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial properties. </li><li>Plumbing service calls for leaks/blockages in domestic and sanitary plumbing systems </li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and low water pressure. Sanitary drains, running sewer snakes and jetting </li><li>Work with pipe systems including copper, PVC, cast iron, and PEX. </li><li>Install and repair water heaters, pumps, water supply lines, and drainage systems. Plumbing fixture repairs/replacements (faucets, valves, flushometers, water closets/urinals, etc) </li><li>Other service plumbing responsibilities: Excavating, Underground piping leak repairs and sewer camera (preferred); Domestic water supply with booster pumps; Water heaters- electric/gas (a plus) </li><li>Ensure all plumbing work meets local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations. </li><li>Test plumbing systems for leaks and other defects. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. </li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. </li><li>Follow all safety procedures and company policies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED certificate </li><li>5+ Years Commercial Plumbing Service Jobs Experience </li><li>Copper, Solder, PVC/CPVC -required </li><li>Groove Pipe, Weld Steel Pipe, - a plus </li><li>Threaded Pipe, Pro Press, Copper, Braze- preferred </li><li>Backflow certification a Plus </li><li>Must be able to install fixtures, make plumbing repairs to all systems, and be proficient in running drain calls and sewer machine operations. </li><li>Ability to work alone and go on service calls with a professional customer service attitude is a must. </li><li>Knowledge of plumbing codes </li><li>Valid Drivers License </li><li>Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds repetitively. </li><li>Must be able to physically perform frequent ladder work. </li><li>Must adhere to all OSHA and Page Mechanical safety policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</p> <p>This position is a largely a physically active role.
