<p>Overview</p> <p>Element is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office & Logistics Coordinator to join our operations in Rockford, IL testing laboratory. This role is essential in managing office administration while overseeing the procurement, shipping, and retrieval of testing materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking abilities, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Salary: $19.50/hr - $24/hr DOE</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage office administration, including answering phones, overseeing the front office, coordinating travel arrangements, and processing expense reports </li><li>Generate and process purchase orders (POs), track received POs, and handle fundamental accounting tasks. </li><li>Maintain and organize calibration documentation </li><li>Oversee shipping and receiving operations, primarily via FedEx </li><li>Address urgent requests and shifting priorities with efficiency and professionalism </li><li>Effectively manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines </li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance office efficiency and workflow </li></ul> <p>Skills / Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree preferred </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint </li><li>Experience in office administration or office management </li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills </li><li>Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing demands </li><li>Experience with purchase order processing, and shipping and receiving procedures </li><li>A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement </li></ul> <p>Company Overview</p> <p>Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
