<p>Program Director</p> <p>Division: Behavioral Health & Community Services (BHCS)</p> <p>Location: 300 Battles Street, Brockton, MA</p> <p>Hours: 30-40 hours/week</p> <p>Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $28.05/hour</p> <p>FLSA Status: Exempt</p> <p>Reports To: Director of Operations, BHCS</p> <p>Who We Are:</p> <p>BAMSI has been "bringing people and services together" since 1975. Through collaborative, community-based programs, BAMSI addresses social determinants of health and supports long-term community well-being.</p> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Time Off - Combined vacation, personal, and cultural holidays </li><li>Paid holidays </li><li>Highly Specialized Paid Trainings </li><li>Health and Dental Insurance </li><li>Life, Short-Term, and Long-Term Disability Insurance </li><li>403B plan with discretionary match </li><li>Wellness Activities </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Career Development Opportunities </li></ul> <p>Benefits vary based on position and scheduled hours.</p> <p>Why BAMSI?</p> <ul> <li>Community Impact: Lead initiatives that address social determinants of health in the Greater Brockton area. </li><li>Leadership & Growth: Drive strategy, coalition building, and program innovation. </li><li>Collaborative Culture: Work alongside community partners, volunteers, and internal BAMSI programs. </li><li>Mission-Driven Work: Support equity-focused programming for communities with diverse needs. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>Provide strategic planning, coalition building, program leadership, and fiscal oversight to drive community health improvement initiatives.</p> <p>Strategic Planning & Program Development</p> <ul> <li>Establish, implement, and evaluate program goals addressing community-specific needs </li><li>Determine program direction and growth opportunities </li><li>Develop and update policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with best practices </li></ul> <p>Coalition & Stakeholder Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Build partnerships with community organizations, health departments, and stakeholders </li><li>Represent BAMSI and BHCS at community events and meetings </li><li>Collaborate with BHCS programs to support individuals and families served </li></ul> <p>Leadership & Supervision</p> <ul> <li>Recruit, interview, hire, supervise, and train volunteers, interns, or staff </li><li>Coordinate daily program activities and support team development </li><li>Participate in BAMSI leadership meetings and building director meetings </li></ul> <p>Monitoring, Evaluation & Sustainability</p> <ul> <li>Develop metrics to track outcomes, impact, and performance </li><li>Ensure compliance with agency policies related to quality management, HR, facilities, training, and marketing </li><li>Identify grant opportunities and long-term partnerships to sustain programs </li></ul> <p>Fiscal Oversight</p> <ul> <li>Monitor program budgets, expenditures, and fiscal performance </li><li>Support contract development, utilization, and reporting </li><li>Collaborate with the Director of Operations on funding proposals, grants, and program expansion </li><li>Perform duties consistent with agency policies and procedures </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Social Work, or related field required </li><li>Master's degree preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years of experience in program management, community engagement, or nonprofit work </li></ul> <p>Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with community leaders and stakeholders </li><li>Experience developing initiatives addressing housing, food security, transportation, and other social needs </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Strong organizational skills and comfort with technology (Microsoft Office, collaboration tools) </li><li>Commitment to health equity and advocacy for underserved populations </li><li>General knowledge of fiscal management and fundraising in Massachusetts (2+ years preferred) </li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required </li></ul> <p>Monday - Friday</p> <p>30-40</p>
