With almost a century of facility service experience, state of the art business practices, environmentally friendly processes and supplies and an established global reputation, we are able to offer unrivaled client experience and satisfaction.</p> <p>The construction janitor & custodian is responsible for ensuring that the site is clean and safe.</p> <p>Position Details:</p> <ul> <li>$33.36/HR </li><li>40 hours per week </li><li>Monday - Friday (7am- 2:30pm) </li><li>(Subject to change to 10-hour shifts or a later start time) </li></ul> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Cleaning and sanitizing floors, walls, and other surfaces using Plant approved cleaning agents and equipment. </li><li>Maintaining and cleaning equipment used in the production process, such as motors, pipes, conduits, as well as stairs and cat walks. </li><li>Conducting routine inspections of the facility to identify areas that require additional cleaning. </li><li>Communicating with other employees to ensure that cleaning schedules are coordinated with production schedules. </li><li>Reporting any issues or concerns to management. </li><li>Following all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in cleaning or sanitation. </li><li>Strong attention to detail, </li><li>Good communication skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and as a team. </li><li>Must be able to meet physical requirements of position to include standing, bending, kneeling, fitting into tight spaces, climbing stairs/ladders and heights. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ariel lift/Scissor lift experience (lifts used to reach ceilings, walls, certain heights)</p> </li><li> <p>Steel toe/composite toe boots</p> </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer:</p> <p>GDI, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and takes pride in maintaining a diverse environment.
