This position is essential to the operation's</p> <p>success as it works closely with customers and on-site management to manage shipping and receiving as</p> <p>well as billing and invoicing. It requires organizational skills as well as the ability to multi- task in an</p> <p>efficient and timely manner.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provides customer service assistance to customers and manages incoming calls. </li><li>Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and </li></ul> <p>outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other</p> <p>records.</p> <ul> <li>Set daily delivery appointments. </li><li>Process incoming deliveries. </li><li>Process completed loads. </li><li>Resolve any issues with shipping and/or receiving with internal staff. </li><li>Files paperwork daily. </li><li>Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance </li></ul> <p>when observed.</p> <ul> <li>Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education. </li><li>3 months verifiable customer service experience. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Outstanding computer and data entry skills. </li><li>Ability to effectively multi-task </li></ul>
