<p>The opportunity</p> <p>Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team at Panevino in Livingston, New Jersey. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with an owner-operator mentality who leads with integrity and thrives in a hands-on leadership role.</p> <p>As General Manager, you will play a key role in the relaunch of this beloved concept. Experience with new restaurant openings or re-openings is highly valued, as you will be instrumental in driving change, building culture, and creating an energized guest experience from day one.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails, and a passion for delivering extraordinary service. You must be comfortable overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including monitoring the annual budget, controlling labor and operating expenses, and managing P&Ls. Leading by example is essential, as is the ability to inspire, train, and develop a high-performing team.</p> <p>If you're ready to bring fresh energy, vision, and leadership to a new chapter at Panevino, we'd love to meet you.</p> <p>Pay</p> <p>Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $88,100 - $118,900 / year</p> <p>In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. These are just some of the benefits we offer:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>401(k) with up to 4% company match </li><li>Annual performance bonus based on level, as well as individual, company, and location performance </li><li>Paid vacation days and holidays </li><li>Paid parental bonding leave </li><li>Tuition and/or professional certification reimbursement </li><li>Generous friends-and-family discounts at many of our hotels and resorts </li></ul> <p>What will you do?</p> <ul> <li>Manage day-to day-restaurant operations with a strong focus on guest satisfaction </li><li>Review financial and performance data to measure productivity, goal achievement, and to identify cost reduction and program improvement opportunities </li><li>Oversee workforce planning, training, sales tracking, labor tracking, petty cash, deposits, inventories, ordering, account payables and receivables, and P&L accounting </li><li>Establish standard operating procedures for supervising all front of the house team members </li><li>Collaborate with the Executive Chef on standard operating procedures in the front and back of the house to ensure food and menu specifications, food handling and food safety requirements, receiving, and storage procedures </li></ul> <p>More about you</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Manager in full-service restaurant with similar volume, capacity, and standard of service </li><li>Strong wine and bar knowledge; a sommelier certification from either Court of Master's or WSET is highly valued </li><li>Servsafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) certifications </li><li>Experience working with and an understanding of P&L's; able to monitor budgets and manage service and labor costs </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours, as needed </li><li>Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, point-of-sale systems, on-line or digital reservation systems </li><li>No degree required </li></ul> <p>Shift details</p> <p>Day shift</p> <p>Evening shift</p> <p>Weekends</p> <p>Who we are</p> <p>Patina Group is a leader in the premium segment of the restaurant and catering industry, operating restaurants and managing catering and food service operations at high-profile venues including, Lincoln Center, Walt Disney World, Disneyland, the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, and The Metropolitan Opera.
