The Access and Logistics Team coordinates patients throughout from all points of entry to facilitate overall hospital patient flow. This team receives all communication related to patients that are requiring bed placement for appropriate clinical expertise and facility placement to support the delivery of quality care. The Patient Placement Team collaborate with hospital staff, ADCO, physicians, staff, Resource Team, and Transfer Center to define, reduce, and eliminate barriers within the system which may impede patient flow and surge plan.
