VOAC supports veteran's efforts to exit homelessness as well as provides a safe place for survivors of domestic violence. Wherever VOAC goes, it combines relationship-building, volunteers and quality services to lift and support our neighbor's efforts to become self-sufficient and reach their full potential.</p> <p>The Volunteer Specialist is responsible for recruiting, orienting, training, and coordinating volunteers to support the Meals on Wheels program. This role ensures volunteers are effectively placed on delivery routes to maintain efficient and reliable service. The position requires consistent collaboration and communication with Aging & Nutrition Services (ANS) staff, Drivers, Program Coordinators, the Community Engagement team, and other Volunteer Specialist team members. Key functions include maintaining accurate volunteer and program data, preparing monthly reports to meet operational compliance and funding requirements.
