<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Smart Grid Network Analyst in Tampa, FL.</p> <p>Duties Include:</p> <ul> <li>Plan, design, and implement Smart Grid RF network infrastructure based on project requirements, capacity planning, and system support needs </li><li>Maintain accurate and complete network documentation, including configurations, system settings, equipment inventories, and site records </li><li>Plan, organize, and coordinate Smart Grid RF network equipment installations and support activities with Tampa Electric departments and contract crews </li><li>Kit, assemble, provision, and configure Smart Grid RF network equipment for field deployment </li><li>Assist with and validate job plans, including work sequence, labor hour estimates, material and equipment requirements, scheduling, and coordination activities </li><li>Monitor Smart Grid RF network performance using Network Management Systems to detect, troubleshoot, and resolve reliability or performance issues </li><li>Perform firmware and configuration updates on Smart Grid RF network equipment as required to maintain system integrity and performance </li><li>Define technical specifications for new Smart Grid RF hardware and software, and participate in evaluation and testing activities* Strong knowledge of Smart Grid RF network architectures, concepts, and operational principles </li><li>Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and supporting RF network hardware and software in a utility or large-scale infrastructure environment </li><li>Experience monitoring and troubleshooting network performance and reliability issues using Network Management Systems </li><li>Working knowledge of RF communications, mesh networks, and related networking fundamentals </li><li>Experience performing firmware and configuration updates on network and field devices </li><li>Familiarity with Advanced Metering Infrastructure, including RF and PLC communications </li><li>Ability to read, interpret, and develop technical documentation, equipment records, and configuration standards </li><li>Experience coordinating technical work across internal departments, field teams, and contractor resources </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex system issues </li><li>Ability to support job planning activities, including labor estimates, material requirements, sequencing, and scheduling </li><li>Understanding of change management practices in an operational or critical infrastructure environment </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team </li></ul>
