Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system components, including filters, pumps, and pipes, to ensure proper functionality. Perform regular preventative maintenance and inspections while testing and adjusting water chemistry to maintain sanitary conditions. Collaborate with irrigation crews to resolve issues and coordinate with the landscape maintenance supervisor to align irrigation schedules with campus needs. Lead efforts to troubleshoot complex irrigation issues and perform advanced repairs on filters, pumps, and piping systems. Ensure a green and sustainable campus by executing effective irrigation schedules, conducting thorough preventative maintenance, and testing water chemistry to optimize conditions. Review irrigation construction documents and designs, providing input on specifications and mapping. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, Facilities management, Construction managers and AEC partners to coordinate irrigation strategies. Closely adhere to industry and university best practices and safety requirements.
