Provides a variety of employee health services to ensure employees are functioning in optimal physical conditions and are physically suited for their positions.</p> <p>Coordinator Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Participate in employee wellness programs. </li><li>Screen employees for illnesses, communicable diseases and injuries </li><li>Review employee incidents and initiate appropriate follow-up. </li><li>Complete pre-placement health assessments for prospective employees. </li><li>Coordinate the Workers' Compensation Program. </li><li>Maintain an effective Employee Health program by assuring that all employees are healthy and working in a safe environment. </li></ul> <p>Coordinator Required Skills and Qualifications</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (bachelors degree or bachelors degree work in progress preferred) </li><li>Prefer certification in occupational health </li><li>Maintains a minimum of six contact hours paid for by DKH </li><li>Certification in CPR </li><li>Current CT State registration </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of three years medical/surgical nursing </li><li>Membership in OHNA required within 1 year of hire </li><li>Background in occupational health preferred </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Medical/Dental/Vision </li><li>Pharmacy Plan </li><li>Basic & Supplemental Life Insurance </li><li>Short- & Long-Term Disability </li><li>Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account </li><li>Accident & Critical Illness Coverage </li><li>401K Plan with Eligible Employer Contribution </li><li>Vacation Time </li><li>Sick Days </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>Education Reimbursement </li><li>Pet Insurance </li><li>Additional Benefits </li></ul> <p>Day Kimball Health is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
