<p>The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between e2i and its clients, leading the development of detailed, actionable project charters. This includes consulting with clients and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure each project is clearly defined, aligns with e2i's capabilities, supports strategic goals, and includes a well-structured execution plan. </p> <p>Beyond chartering responsibilities, the Senior Project Manager mentors Project Managers throughout the entire project lifecycle, providing guidance in planning, budget management, team staffing, and execution. This role is instrumental in fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment within e2i. </p> <p>The Senior Project Manager also supports the ongoing growth and refinement of e2i's processes and procedures. They also help plan and coordinate internal events and celebrations to build team cohesion and recognize achievements. The Senior Project Manager plays a key role in identifying, training, and developing future Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.</p> <p>This role is ideal for a student eager to gain high-level project management experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. If you're ready to take on complex projects, mentor others, and make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p> </p> <p>Note: You must be available in the summer for training.</p> <p>Project Charter Development & Maintenance</p> <ul> <li> <p>Scope, document, and review all project charters for e2i projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Define project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members to gather and document project requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with stakeholders to refine and adjust project elements as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Consult with e2i administration on project status and emerging challenges.</p> </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Ensure alignment between project objectives and client expectations. </li><li>Facilitate meetings to gather input and feedback on project charters under the direction of e2i administration. </li></ul> <p>Weekly 1:1 Sessions and Updates</p> <ul> <li>Conduct weekly 1:1 sessions with each Project Manager to discuss progress and address challenges. </li><li>Update the program director and support staff on project status and any challenges identified during execution. </li><li>Maintain accurate and accessible project documentation. </li></ul> <p>Leadership and Mentorship</p> <ul> <li>Mentor and support Project Managers, helping them navigate challenges and promoting professional growth. </li><li>Guide to ensure Project Managers are equipped to meet project goals. </li><li>Navigate conflict resolution diplomatically to foster a collaborative and productive team environment. </li><li>Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, tracking progress and addressing issues proactively. </li><li>Must be currently enrolled as a student at Utah Valley University. </li><li>Minimum of one year of experience in a leadership or managerial role. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Demonstrated experience leading and managing project teams, preferably within an Innovation Academy or similar experiential learning environment.</p> </li><li> <p>3-5 years of various management or leadership experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with project management tools and methodologies.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to navigate complex project situations and drive effective solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and follow-through.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to think strategically while managing a detailed project</p> </li></ul> <p>components.</p> <ul> <li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and </li></ul> <p>documentation.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to collaborate across departments and work with diverse stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong conflict management and problem-solving abilities.</p> </li></ul>
