<p>Press Production Supervisor - 1st Shift</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a results-driven Press Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This leadership role promotes a safety-first culture, drives continuous improvement, and embraces a servant leadership approach to build an engaged and accountable workforce.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Safety Leadership</p> <ul> <li> <p>Champion and enforce all safety policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct safety audits and lead root-cause investigations</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and correct unsafe behaviors or conditions</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure proper safety training and PPE compliance</p> </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership & Development</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead with a servant leadership mindset focused on coaching and team development</p> </li><li> <p>Train, mentor, and cross-train team members</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee attendance, performance, and policy enforcement</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with Union Stewards on contract and disciplinary issues</p> </li></ul> <p>Production Oversight</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise daily operations within the stamping press department</p> </li><li> <p>Drive achievement of production goals, quality standards, and on-time delivery</p> </li><li> <p>Optimize Client and machine utilization</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot issues quickly to minimize downtime and maintain workflow</p> </li></ul> <p>Continuous Improvement</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead and support Lean initiatives including 5S and Kaizen</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze scrap, downtime, and bottlenecks to implement corrective actions</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve throughput and efficiency</p> </li></ul> <p>Reporting & Communication</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain accurate production, safety, and quality records</p> </li><li> <p>Report KPIs to leadership</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively across departments to resolve operational challenges</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>1-3+ years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment</p> </li><li> <p>Previous manufacturing supervisory experience required (stamping press experience strongly preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated servant leadership approach</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Internship or co-op experience will be considered</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to stand for extended periods</p> </li><li> <p>Frequent stooping and bending</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance</p> </li></ul> <p>Please email resume: amanix@blackrockres.com</p> <p>#LI-AM1</p>
