They may be asked to step up as a performer or engineer or to speak to students from their own experiences as a live audio production and/or lighting student. They will assist in supervising students during the day and take on the role of primary supervisor after dinner and overnight in the dorms.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Must be Music Industry/Live Audio or Production or Entertainment Technology major at Millersville University and have taken at least one live audio class and lighting class.</p> <p>Must be free for entire duration of the workshop schedule.</p> <p>Must be proficient in basic live audio and/or lighting.</p> <p>Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI fingerprints)</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications Job Duties</p> <p>Live Audio Setup and Mixing assistance as needed, Lighting assistance as needed.</p> <p>Equipment Setup and moving: Set up and break down audio equipment for sessions and move equipment from one building to another if needed.</p> <p>Student Support: Provide guidance and assistance to students and faculty on the use of equipment. Train users on best practices for live show preparation.</p> <p>Student Supervision: Keep track of students and foster a safe and welcoming learning environment. This will extend to light planning and running of casual activities after dinner and before lights out.</p> <p>Project Management: Collaborate with students and faculty to schedule and coordinate performance projects.
