<p>Cope Plastics, Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Alton, IL. This position is for the 1st shift</p> <p>Maintenance Technicians are responsible for installation and repair of machines (predominantly CNC) in the fabrication facilities. This includes all Cope facilities</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoots, inspects and diagnoses problems and corrects as necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Installs new power requirements for machinery and replaces broken power receptacles</p> </li><li> <p>Builds new storage racks for corporate location and all branches</p> </li><li> <p>Possess the working knowledge of mechanical/electrical machine practices with the ability to read parts manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of machine design and operation and a familiarity with operating and setting up CNC equipment and assist with installation of new machinery</p> </li><li> <p>Records maintenance and repair work performed</p> </li></ol>
