<p>Opportunity:</p> <p>To safely and effectively coordinate the shipment of all in-process and finished material/orders in a timely manner in an effort to meet the customers due date while following all established corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines. To coordinate the shipping of parts/products out of and into the manufacturing facility in support of the production effort.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Technical Degree preferred.</p> <p>Experience: 1-3 years shipping experience with clerical background preferred.</p> <p>Required Areas of Knowledge: Safety, Health & Environment; Manufacturing, Transportation Knowledge, Material Packaging.</p> <p>Skills: Written and Oral communication, Typewriter & Computer Proficiency, Domestic and International Traffic Knowledge, Microsoft Office, Interpersonal Relationships.</p> <p>Role Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with coordinating and executing the shipment including the creation, verification and consolidation of required documentation for shipments (domestic and export). </li><li>Ensure that all federal and international shipping regulations are met. </li><li>Perform daily duties in a timely manner. This includes receiving, backlogging, preparing manifests and bills of lading, sending shipments in AX and interacting with drivers/trucking carrier personnel as necessary to ensure shipment process is effective and timely. </li><li>Effectively communicate with all colleagues to ensure shipment process is effective and timely. </li><li>Service internal/external customers in a professional manner while fostering cross-functional relationships. </li><li>Maintain excellent attendance and complete tasks within budget while adhering to all corporate policies, procedures and rules. </li><li>Cover for the Senior Shipping Clerk during absences. </li><li>Miscellaneous receiving functions for conversion and raw materials. </li><li>Complete timekeeping functions for bargaining unit employees. </li></ul>
