Keep reading.</p> <p>As a Packaging Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our company's overall success. Your mission: proactively generate leads, cultivate exceptional customer relationships, and promote our products and services to boost profitability in your region. In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Sales & Business Development </li><li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, cold outreach, networking, and industry events. </li><li>Conduct customer visits to explore growth potential and increase sales. </li><li>Assess customer needs and propose customized product solutions. </li><li>Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals. </li><li>Customer Relationship Management </li><li>Serve as the main point of contact for distributors and end users. </li><li>Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally. </li><li>Assist with logistics, customs processes, order tracking, and delivery coordination. </li><li>Thoroughly document all customer details and sales progress in Salesforce CRM. </li><li>Technical Support </li><li>Guide customers in the design, installation, and setup of transverse jaws for packaging machines. </li><li>Troubleshoot sealing issues and recommend performance improvements. </li><li>Collaborate with the internal engineering team for product modifications and design approvals. </li><li>Internal Coordination & Administration </li><li>Communicate customer feedback to engineering and production to ensure timely deliveries. </li><li>Assist with administrative duties such as invoicing and documentation. </li><li>Coordinate with logistics to meet customer-specific shipping and delivery requirements. </li></ul> <p>Base Salary</p> <p>$65,000-$100,000; commission potential $15,000-$50,000</p> <p>What's in it for you?</p> <p>There's no monopoly on good ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team. And because we understand the importance of feeling protected, there is no waiting period for benefits - you are eligible on your first day of employment!</p> <p>If this sounds like you, we want to connect!</p> <ul> <li>Experience: </li><li>2-5 years in technical support, maintenance, or roles related to packaging machinery (e.g., horizontal/vertical form-fill-seal machines, transverse jaws). </li><li>Technical Competence: </li><li>Solid understanding of packaging machine components and mechanical systems. </li><li>Ability to interpret and validate technical drawings; CAD experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is an asset. </li><li>Ability to accurately measure and document mechanical components. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with sealing issues. </li><li>Soft Skills: </li><li>Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills. </li><li>Effective liaison between clients and internal departments. </li><li>Self-motivated and comfortable with frequent travel (50% +/-). </li></ul> <p>Pro Mach, Inc. was named to the Inc. 5,000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. seven times.
